EMCC HOMECOMING QUEEN

- Hannah Lynn Daugherty of Leroy, Ala., was named the East Mississippi Community College homecoming queen. She is escorted by her father, Tony Dean Daugherty. She was crowned Saturday in Scooba at halftime of the Lions’ 48-24 victory over Itawamba Community College. At EMCC, Daugherty is a cheerleader, a member of the Student Government Association, a Student Ambassador, an officer in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She was also a Homecoming Maid at EMCC in 2014 and named to the Top 5 Beauties in last year’s Beauty & Beau Pageant. She plans to attend either Mississippi State University or the University of Southern Alabama to pursue a degree in physical therapy.
