Miss Pritchett, Mr. Weir

    Douglas and Patti Yelverton of Meridian and Bill and Erica Stotts of Huntsville, Ala. announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Elizabeth Pritchett, to Wesley Eugene Weir, son of Jerry and Carolyn Galli Paige of Toomsuba and Eugene Weir of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the Cotton Market in Richland.

    Miss Pritchett is the granddaughter of Elaine Stuart and the late James Stuart of Meridian, Linda Stotts of Columbus and the late Sammy Stotts of Brandon.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School. She attended Meridian Community College for two years.

    Miss Pritchett is employed as a dental assistant by Art of Dentistry.

    Mr. Weir is the grandson of the late Daryle E. Galli and the late Carlene Williamson Galli of Collinsville and the late J.D. Weir and Bernice Weir of Meridian.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School.

    Mr. Weir is employed as a driller by Rowan Companies Inc.

    A reception will be held at the Cotton Market.
