65TH ANNIVERSARY 2

Leonard “Sonny” and Ruth Morgan of Meridian will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015. Sonny and Ruth were married Aug. 11, 1950, at Central Presbyterian Church in Meridian by the Rev. John McQueen.

The couple have two children, Jimmy “Wabash” Morgan and Sharon Morgan, both of Meridian, and one granddaughter, Josie Matthews Kidd and her husband, Chance, of Collinsville. Sonny is retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and Ruth is a retired dental assistant. Mrs. Morgan is the former Ruth Wright of Meridian.
