    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Disturbing the peace – Corey J. King, born in 1985.

    • Simple assault – Willie Bell, born in 1950, 2021 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Profane language – Celeste Smith, born in 1984, 2211 17th Ave., Meridian.

    • 7100 block of Highway 80 West, Meridian.

    • 1800 block of 11th Avenue, Meridian.

Shootings

     Meridian police responded to 4 shots-fired calls. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s       Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday:

    • Probation violation/parole – Annie Nicole Bundrum, 24, 8827 Whipporwill Road, Lauderdale.

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Fredrick Jay Graves, 53, 4088 34th Ave., Meridian. Graves is also charged with improper turn signal, driving with a suspended license, violation of insurance card in vehicle law and two counts of contempt of court.

    • Bad check, felony – Jennifer Lynn McMillian, 44, 359 Hickory Place Lot 16, Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Cynthia Michelle Renfrow, 38, 1538 Garrison Road, Decatur. Renfrow is also charged with dareless driving and violation of insurance card in vehicle law.

    • Domestic violence – Wendy Griffin Shirley, 54, 4055 Highway 154 South, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence – Stephen C. Shirley, 55, 188 Mount Horeb, Meridian.
