Residence hit by gunfire
Officers with the Meridian Police Department responded to a shooting into a residence Sunday around 3:45 a.m. in the 2100 block of 25th Avenue.
MPD Detective Dareall Thompson said the residence was hit once by gunfire, but no injuries were reported.
The case is still under investigation, Thompson said. Anyone with information about this crime should call 911 or CRIMESTOPPERS at (855)-485-TIPS.
MPD officers respond to robbery
Officers with the Meridian Police Department responded to a robbery around 4:37 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of 67th Avenue.
MPD Detective Dareall Thompson said the victim was robbed at gunpoint of a tablet, and was struck on the head by the suspect. The victim sustained minor injuries, Thompson said.
