Miss Overby, Mr. Jones

    Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Bunyard and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Overby of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Brooke, to Michael Colby Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Jones of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at 5 p.m. at Soule’ Steam Works.

    Miss Overby is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Chaney of Hickory and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Overby of Meridian.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a master’s degree in nutrition and food systems. She is a graduate of Clarkdale High School.

    While attending USM, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and The Student Dietetics Association.

    Miss Overby is employed by the University of Mississippi Medical Center as a registered dietician.

    Mr. Jones is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Miles, Mr. O.E. Lovett and Mrs. Helen Jones and the late J.C. Jones.

    The bridegroom-elect graduated with an IBEW apprenticeship as an electrician. He is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.

    Mr. Jones is employed by NuCor Steel as an electrician.

    A reception will be held at Soule’ Steam Works.
