Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Jonathan Tre Carney, 19, 4437 Shelby Gressett Road, Toomsuba.

    • Domestic violence – Jacoby Clayton, 20, 3706 Padding St., Meridian. Clayton is also charged with giving false ID information, public drunk and disorderly conduct.

    • Shoplifting, second offense – Nehesha T. Collins, 27, 2647 St Luke St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting, third offense – Robert Demetris Fluker, 34, 1709 37th Ave., Meridian.

    • Violation of order or agreement – Jimmy Lewis Hornsby, 55, 4305 30th St., Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Tehran S. Jackson, 31, 548 Old Country Club, Marion. Jackson is also charged with reckless driving and possession of marijuana, less than 30 grams.

    • Disorderly conduct – Anna M. Monegan, 51, 2707 Chandler St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault – Aaron A. Rayner, 18, 1411 33rd Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Jeremy D. Rush, 30, 10364 Jackson Military Road, Daleville. Rush is also charged with no license tag, violation of child restraint law and driving with suspended license.

    • Simple assault, two counts – Ava Sheffield, 26, 200 23rd St., Meridian. Sheffield is also charged with giving false information, shoplifting, willful trespassing and assault on minor.

    • Disturbance in public place – Jamie N. Smelley, 29, 463 Alexander Ave., Centerville, AL. Smelley is also charged with profane language and disorderly conduct.

    • Conspiracy to commit a crime, felony – Jayvion K. Smith, 16, 2502 Old Marion Road, Meridian. Smith is also charged with participating in gang activity.

    • Shoplifting – Sameerah S. Smith, 24, 2112 16th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – John Kenneth Stewart, 27, homeless.

    • Simple assault – Kimberly D. Adams, born in 1975, 2236 46th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI – Bruce Harris, born in 1984, 4326 Terry St., Meridian. Harris is also charged with no proof of insurance and driving without a license.

    • Disorderly conduct – Steven Heidelberg, born in 1986, 5200 Manning St., Meridian.

    • Disturbance of a business – Teashley Collins, born in 1991, 2427 Fourth St., Meridian.

    • Stalking – Devonte Hickman, born in 1993, 912 Bragg Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana – Nathan R. Winston, born in 1993.

    • Simple assault on a minor – Patti Edwards, born in 1970, 207 North Hills St., Meridian.

    • Embezzlement, misdemeanor – Cortez Barfield, born in 1990, 3840 36th St., Meridian.

    • False pretense – Jimmy Davis, born in 1973, 4507 Valley Road, Meridian.

    • Simple assault on a minor – Savaush Armstrong, born in 1980, 4012 South St., Meridian. Armstrong is also charged with contempt of court.

    • Domestic violence – Spencer Ivy, born in 1983, 8312 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian. Ivy is also charged with petit larceny.

    • False pretense – Jackie Taylor, born in 1950, 211 James Road, Lisman, AL.

    • DUI – Henry Pruitt, born in 1993, 1902 Old Marion Road, Meridian. Pruitt is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident and possession of controlled substance.

    • DUI – Damien Webb, born in 1993, 669 John C. Stennis Drive, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Thursday to Monday:

Auto Burglaries

     • 900 block of 27th Avenue, Meridian.

    • 1800 block of 16th Street, Meridian.

    • 3800 block of Davis Street, Meridian.

    • 100 block of North Frontage Road, Meridian.

 

Shootings

     Meridian police responded to 14 shots-fired calls. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

    • Accessory before the fact – Christopher Edward Anderson, 31, 2312 24th Ave., Meridian. Anderson is also charged with false pretense and being held for outside agency.

    • DUI, first offense – Willie Dewitt Bell, 60, 2100 Knox Road, Meridian.

    • DUI, other substance – John David Booker, 48, 2591 Old Hwy 19, Meridian.

    • Failure to appear (justice court), four counts – Oscar Lee Brewer III, 40, 383 Briarwood Road, Meridian. Brewer is also charged with driving with a suspended license.

    • Failure to appear (justice court), two counts – Martha Gayle Bundrum, 43, 2101 19th Ave., Meridian. Bundrum is also charged with shoplifting and being held for outside agency.

    • Armed robbery, three counts – Lezerrick Deval Butler, 33, 115 Kensington Manor Drive, Calera, AL. Butler is being held for outside agency.

    • DUI, other substance – Marquis Clayton, 20, 10966 Baylor Road, Meridian. Clayton is also charged with seat-belt violation,not using turn signal, no liability insurance and improper/altered license tag.

    • Sale of methamphetamine – Suzanne Cole, 32, 208 Ortho Roberts Road, DeKalb.

    • DUI, first offense – Joshua James Fredregill, 41, 2075 County Road 178, Piedmont, AL. Fredregill is also charged with avoiding roadblock, failure to yield to blue light/siren, reckless driving, seat-belt violation and disorderly conduct.

    • Petit larceny, up to $1,000 – Maurice James Glover, 45, 1520 28th Ave., Meridian. Glover is also charged with giving false ID information and telephone harrassment.

    • DUI, first offense – Jacob Marcus Golden, 27, 9728 Old Hwy 45, Lauderdale. Golden is also charged with reckless driving and improper passing.

    • DUI, first offense – Michael Gordon, 37, 83 Pelican Drive, Lisman, AL. Gordon is also charged with careless driving, no liability insurance and driving without a license.

    • Disorderly conduct – Calvin Hall Jr., 32, 838 Tomola Road, Lauderdale. Hall is also charged with resisting arrest and public profanity.

    • Failure to pay child support – Steven Dewayne Harris, 46, 9085 Pine Springs Road, Meridian. Harris is also charged with driving with a suspended license.

    • Failure to appear (justice court) – Bobby Lewis Havard, 33, 12326 Sharpe Road, Collinsville.

    • Disorderly conduct – Hannah Lynn Hembree, 29, 8657 Chapel Road, Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Beverly Hickman, 33, 2320 May St., Westlake, LA.

    • Domestic violence – Bradley Duane Kangas, 38, 11412 Centerhill Martin Road, Collinsville.

    • Failure to pay (justice court), two counts – Timothy D. McArthur, 22, 9343 Hwy 493, Meridian.

    • DUI, first offense – Gregory McDonald, 21, 3162 East Cook Road, Meridian. McDonald is also charged with careless driving, no liability insurance, driving without a license and seat-belt violation.

    • DUI, other substance – Clydarian A. McGill, 19, 150 Pugh Road, Shubuta. McGill is also charged with seat-belt violation, no liability insurance and possession of paraphernalia.

    • DUI, first offense – Robert Lee McNeal, 53, 8030 Old Kings Road, Jacksonville, FL.

    • DUI, first offense – Shalanda T. Pearson, 33, 838 Tomola Road, Lauderdale. Pearson is also charged with careless driving and violation of insurance card in vehicle law.

    • Failure to appear (justice court) – Renee Richardson, 30, 304 Willow St., Livingston, AL.

    • DUI, first offense – Alyssa Rose, 17, 313 Indian Hills Drive, Meridian.

    • Prohibition, deadly weapon or contraband in jail – Tykia Jalissa Smith, 20, 6874 Russell Topton Road, Toomsuba.

    • DUI, other substance – Andre Strong Jr., 23, 15491 Hwy 39 North, DeKalb. Strong is also charged with possession of marijuana in vehicle and driving without a license.

    • Possession of cocaine – Anthony Stuhan, 49, 12412 North Palm, El Mirage, AZ.

    • DUI, first offense – Levi Tasso, 19, 119 Aycock Road, Meridian. Tasso is also charged with driving without a license, no liability insurance and careless driving.

    • DUI, second offense – Preston Willis, 59, 1116 MLK Drive, Meridian.
