Danny and Lisa (Snyder) Cubbage of Lucedale announce the marriage of their daughter, Anna Elizabeth, to Ryan Matthew Leonard, son of Reverend Ron and Judy Leonard of Meridian.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Katie Snyder of Leakesville and Jim Snyder of Cedar Bluff, Ala. and Willie Mae Cubbage and the late David Cubbage of Lucedale.
She is a 2009 Highest Honors graduate of George County High School and a 2014 Honors graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi. Anna graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics and minor in Sports Coaching.
While at Southern, she was a member of The University of Southern Mississippi Co-Ed Cheerleading Squad, Luckyday Scholar, and member Kappa Delta Sorority, where she served as Vice-President New Member Education.
She has accepted a job in the Lamar County School District for the upcoming year, where she will be teaching 7th grade advanced Mathematics and coaching cheerleading at Oak Grove Middle School.
The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald H. Kegley of Marion, Va. and Ronald and Delia Leonard of Marion, Va.
He is a 2009 Honors graduate of Clarkdale High School and a 2013 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi. Ryan graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in Nutrition and Criminal Justice. He is presently pursuing his Masters degree in Education at William Carey University.
He has also accepted a job in the Lamar County School District for the upcoming year, where he will be 6th-8th grade Special Education teacher at Sumrall Middle School.
Wedding vows will be exchanged June 19, 2015, at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hattiesburg with a reception to follow at The Venue at The Bakery Building.
