MSU-Meridian hosts induction ceremonies for honor societies

MSU-Meridian recently held induction ceremonies for Alpha Chi, a national honor society with more than 300,000 members from some 300 college and university chapters, and member of the Association of College Honor Societies.There are chapters in 45 states and Puerto Rico. Members of Alpha Chi are ranked in the Top 10 percent of juniors, seniors, and graduate students and represent the best undergraduate and graduate scholarship in all academic fields at their respective institutions. Photo 2: MSU-Meridian recently held induction ceremonies for Psi Chi, an international honor society whose purpose shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology. Members typically come from the top 25 percent of the psychology major, must have a 3.30 overall GPA, demonstrate interpersonal character and be committed to the betterment of MSU-Meridian and the field of psychology.
