Mr. Causey, Miss Clay

    William and Wanda Clay of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Tana Ann, to Joseph Scott Causey, son of Thomas J. Causey of Jonesborough, Tenn., and Melinda and Dick Simmons of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at their home in Meridian, with the Rev. Tom Sikes officiating.

    Miss Clay is the granddaughter of Lorraine Irby and the late E.E. Irby and Janelle Clay and the late Leroy Clay, all of Meridian.

    The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is currently working on her master’s degree through Mississippi State University. She is a 2004 graduate of West Lauderdale High School.

    Miss Clay is employed with the Quitman School District, where she has taught kindergarten for the last six years.

    Mr. Causey is the grandson of Marian Gullette and the late Frank Gullette of Meridian and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Causey of Jonesborough, Tenn.

    The bridegroom-elect attended the University of Tennessee. He is a graduate of Lamar High School.

    Mr. Moore is an owner and operator of the Benjamin Moore Paint Store at North Hills.
