Amy LeAnne Tolleson and Tyler Kyle Covington, both of Meridian, were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Meridian, with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Quin Leake officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Allan Don Tolleson and Mr. and Mrs. Al Clark Covington, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Mary Frances Wilcher and the late Mr. Freddie Williamson Wilcher and Mrs. Modona Camp Tolleson and the late Mr. Claude Hooper Tolleson, all of Carthage.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Alison Covington and Mrs. Metta Ann Sisson and the late Mr. William Dewitt Sisson, all of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by the First Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir, by David and Valerie Bishop, and by Barry Germany, piano; Miriam Chesney, organ; KahYee Lee and Jung-Min Shin, violin; Michael Fernandez, Viola; Clayton Vaughn, cello; Susie Johnson, flute, and Lee Kornegay, trumpet.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a formal gown of ivory Alencon lace over Chantilly lace fashioned in a trumpet silhouette which flowed into a deeply-scalloped cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet in shades of ivory of David Austin roses, vendelas, hydrangeas and peonies hand-tied and wrapped with antique French ribbon.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister Ashley Tolleson Dean of Meridian.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Fort Tolleson of Qxford; Julia Maloye (Malley) Scarbrough of Little Rock, Ark; Dakota Thaggard Killingsworth of Morton; Sarah Hicks Jellenc of London, England; Brittany Lewis Lisi, Anna Edwards Brown and Katie Sanders Hogan, all of Meridian.
Susan Patton Helveston of Oxford served as flower girl.
The father of the groom was the best man.
Groomsmen were Jason Sterling White of Baton Rouge, La.; Erik Don Tolleson of Oxford; Korey Heath Beckman of Jackson; Joseph Scott Covington, Mark Alan Covington, Christopher Lee Dean and Phillip Michael Dively, all of Meridian.
Ushers were Leland Derek Denny of Jackson; William Dowell Green of Winona; Jeremy Fredrick Purdum of Jackson and Matthew Clark Walker of Meridian.
Cooper Lee Dean served as ring bearer.
Program and registry attendants were Amanda Wilcher Kelly of Newton; Tamra Blocker Lovelace of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; Alisha Wilcher Manuel and Gracey Elizabeth Wilcher, of Carthage.
A reception was held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Meridian.
