    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Friday:

    • Possession of controlled substance – Brendon Davis, born  in 1994, 1101 29th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct – Baron Hart, born in 1995, 2318 15th Ave., Meridian.

Auto Burglaries

     • 300 block of Ninth Street, Meridian.

    

Residential Burglaries

    • 3200 block of Hillside Road, Meridian.

    

Shootings

     Meridian police responded to 2 shots-fired calls. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s      Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Friday:

    • Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Kari D. Carmichael, 25, 249 Erwin Road, Stonewall. Carmichael is also charged with running a red light and careless driving.

    • DUI, first offense – Antonio Gregory Crawford, 19, 2427 Fourth Ave., Meridian. Crawford is also charged with improper turn, seat-belt violation, failure to signal and insurance card law in vehicle.

    • Suspended drivers license – Michael Dantrel Hunter, 23, 131 Millpond Drive, Hattiesburg. Hunter is also charged with speeding over 30.

    • Possession of methamphetamine – Brian Marcus Knighton, 32, 1505 CR Road 110, Quitman.

    • Malicious mischief/vandalism, two counts – Jeremy Edwin Lankford, 29, 6253 Chickasaway St., Marion. Lankford is also charged with failure to appear (justice court).

    • Probation violation/parole – Raymond Lashawn McGlothin, 42, 603 42nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle – Amy Michelle Jamieson Moore, 37, 2031 Bunk Newell Road, Meridian. Moore is also charged with disregard of traffic device.

    • Driving with suspended license – Donald W. Snowden, 49, 9205 Lizelia Road, Meridian.

    • Suspended drivers license – Tiera Laquandra Yarbrough, 25, 2428 Old Marion Road K-78, Meridian. Yarbrough is also charged with seat-belt violation, child restraint law and no liability insurance.
