Services for Ronny W. Brown will be held today, Saturday at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lockhart Cemetery.
Mr. Brown, 62, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Poplar Springs Nursing Center in Meridian. Ronny was a lifetime resident of Meridian, attending public schools and being a proud member of the class of 1970 at Meridian High. He was a very loving and caring son, brother, uncle and friend. He was an inspiration to all he met. He worked at Radio Shack for 20 years before retiring and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his mother, Tena Brown, of Meridian; sister, Laurie (Butch) Gibson of Meridian; brother, Glenn (Dawn) Brown of Alpharetta, Ga.; his aunt, Louise McKinnon of Meridian; nephews, Ryan Feltman of Germantown, Tenn.; Cole Brown of Alpharetta, Ga.; Robert Brown of Meridian; and Clark Gibson of Meridian; neices, Emily Petellat of Stafford, Va.; Allison Brown of Alpharetta, Ga.; and Leigh Ann Bonvillain of Madison; special cousins that he loved like brothers and sisters; and a special friend, Maureen Files.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Feltman, Cole Brown, Larry Temple, Tony Swift, Tony Malone, and Karl Springer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Swartzfager and Robert Brown.
He was preceded in death by his father, E. P. Brown, and his brother, Mike Brown.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home.
