Graveside services for Henry Lowry "Lonnie" Randall will be

Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with The Reverend Luther Ott

presiding. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Randall, 84, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at Anderson Regional

Medical Center. He was born Sept. 14, 1930, in Meridian. He graduated from

Meridian High School and attended the University of Mississippi.

Mr. Randall was employed as an engineer with Meridian and Bigbee

Railroad for 44 years, retiring in 1992.

He married Peggy Joyce Owen on July 9, 1954, at First Christian

Church.

Throughout the years, Mr. Randall was an avid hobbyist who

enjoyed woodworking, sailing, astronomy, raising homing pigeons,

beekeeping and ham radio. He loved gardening, especially cultivating

daylilies. Mr. Randall was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering at the

Meridian Public Library. He was also a member of the Harley Owners Group.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his daughters, Robin Randall Hall and Lisa

Randall Kittrell and her husband, Jerome; a son, David Apperson Randall and

his wife, Penny, all of Meridian; sisters, Mary Ann Lewis and her husband,

Tom, of Meridian, and Nancy Moore of Tupelo; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hall

of Meridian, Ann Marie Hall Stanton and her husband, Mike, of Oxford, Laura

Kittrell of Los Angeles, Calif., Nathan Kittrell of Nashville, Tenn., Olivia

Randall and David Randall, both of Meridian; a nephew, Mark Lewis and his

wife, Tjawanna, of Union; a niece, Nancy Leigh McDade and her husband, Gene,

of Tupelo; and great-nephews, John Henry McDade and Ander Pearce McDade of

Tupelo.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Randall

in 2010; his parents Henry Lonnie and Eula Randall; a nephew, Andy Moore;

and a brother-in-law, Lee Moore.

Pallbearers will be Frank Hamilton, Steve Reetz, Larry Dean, Dr.

David Gilmore, Phillip Maples and John Compton.

Honorary pallbearers will be his two grandsons who are named

after him, Nathan Lowry Kittrell and David Lowry Randall; and Mark Lewis,

Steve Slade and JC Jackson.
