Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Monday:

    • Shoplifting – Teresa M. Harbor, born 1984, 1890 Bigelow Road, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Jaqurius Warren, born 1994, 1908 9th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Nona Kenedy, born 1986, 2806 35th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault – Brian T. Dixon, born 1982, 111 30th Place, Meridian.

    • Simple assault – Sherika A. Warren, born 1991, 111 30th Place, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Teasia Warren, born 1994, 4524 Highway 39 North, Meridian. Warren is also being charged with giving false information.

    • Shoplifting – Reginald J. Amerson, born 1971, 2210 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment – Corinna M. Tucker, born 1972, 1517 48th Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk – Stephen D. Locklear, born 1959, 8699 Pine Springs Road, Meridian. Locklear is also being charged with disturbance of a business.

    • DUI – Shaniqua L. Graham, born 1996, 4203 38th Street, Meridian.

    • Simple assault – domestic violence – Jamie L. French, born 1971, 1810 10th Ave., Meridian. French is also being charged with leaving the scene of accident.

    • Wilfull trespass – Anna M. Monegan, born 1963, homeless.

    • Simple assault – domestic violence – Dominate Tubbs, born 1980, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from 9 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Monday:

Robbery

    • 1300 block of 17th Avenue

    • 1700 block of Highway 19 North

Shootings

    • 2400 block of 5th Street.  Officers arrived on scene and determined that the victim had been shot in the leg.

    • Meridian Police responded to a shooting into a dwelling in the 3100 block Davis Street.

    • Meridian Police Officers responded to 24 shots fired calls. When Officers arrived on scene they were unable to find evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Monday:

    • Suspended driver’s license – Torkeshia Tushunda Bolar, 33, 3301 Northview Drive, Meridian. Bolar is also being charged with no insurance card in vehicle and two counts of failure to pay.

    • Shoplifting – My’asia Bolton, 19, 1919 North 1st Ave., Laurel.

    • Probation/parole violation – Jeanie Davis, 32, 8449 Highway 19 North, Collinsville.  

    • Simple assault – domestic violence – Mickey Daniel Davis, 58, 8449 Highway 19 North, Collinsville.  

    • DUI – first – Billy Lavell Eason, 30, 5962 A York Road, Lauderdale. Eason is also being charged with careless driving.

    • Simple assault – domestic violence – Clifton J. Gowdy, 42, 1301 36th Ave.,Meridian.

    • DUI – second – Monica Diona Graham, 33, 138 County Road 440, Quitman. Graham is also being charged with no driver’s license.

    • DUI – first – Dennis James Hearn, 28, 55th Ave., Meridian.  Hearn is also being charged with driving without headlights, no driver’s license and no liability insurance.

    • Sell of methamphetamine (two counts) – Brandi Shelby Heinz, 32, 4437 Shelby Gresset Road, Toomsuba.

    • Shoplifting – Nona Kennedy, 28, 2806 35th Ave., Meridian.  Kennedy is also being charged with contempt of court.

    • DUI – other substances – Natalie Nicole Killen, 32, 4806 King Road, Meridian.  Killen is also being charged with obstructing traffic, suspended driver’s license and no liability insurance.

    • Domestic violence – Sherie D. Kirk, 34, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

    • Public drunk – Stephen D. Locklear, 55, 8699 Pine Springs Road, Meridian. Locklear is also being charged with disturbance in a public place.

    • Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer – Timothy D. McArthur, 22, 9343 Highway 493, Bailey.

    • DUI – first – Jerome L. McCoy, 23, 2520 17th Ave., Meridian.  McCoy is also being charged with driving without headlights and no liability insurance.

    • Wilfull trespass – Anna M. Monegan, 51, Chance St, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer – Cornelius Reeshod Mosley, 27, 1710 9th Ave., Meridian. Mosley is also being charged with public drunk.

    • DUI – first – Michael James Pommier, 51, 7736 Resivor Lane, Knoxville, Tenn.  

    • No driver’s license – Abraham Patrick Portis, 43, 1522 13th Ave., Meridian. Portis is also being charged with no license tag, no insurance card in vehicle and shoplifting.

    • Probation/parole violation – David Eugene Pruett, 30, 5550 Omitted Road, Meridian.  

    • Simple assault – domestic violence – Mitzi Berry Roberts, 51, 4703 18th Ave., Meridian.  

    • Contempt of court – Deontre Travelle Rush, 22, 506 Front St. J-7, Meridian.  

    • DUI – second – Thelma Sumrall, 48, 3013 Interchange Road, Meridian. Sumrall is also being charged with suspended driver’s license, expired license tag, no insurance card in vehicle and contempt of court.

    • Probation/parole violation – Krystal Dawn Wolverton, 28, 3032 Conhatta Road, Conhatta.
