Donald and Lacy Galster of Long Beach announce the engagement of their daughter, Ginger, to Paul D. “Jay” Joyner II, son of Renee Joyner of Mandeville, La., and Paul Joyner Sr. of Collinsville.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Oak Crest Mansion in Pass Christian.
Miss Galster is the granddaughter of Donald and Zora Galster and Lmre and Hedwig Horvath, all of Buffalo, N.Y.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a bachelor of science degree in fashion merchandising and marketing. She is a graduate of Long Beach High School.
While attending USM, she was a member of the Fashion Merchandising Organization.
Miss Galster is employed by Gae-Tana’s in New Orleans, La.
Mr. Joyner is the grandson of Kenneth D. Sr. and Imogene Joyner of Collinsville and the late Albert and Rita Sonak of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received a bachelor of science in business management and a master of science degree in construction management. He is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.
While attending USM, he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and Lucky Day Scholarship Association.
Mr. Joyner is employed by Landis Construction in New Orleans, La.
A reception will be held at Oak Crest Mansion immediately following the ceremony.
