Hubert “Sarge” and Virginia Rivers celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, with a small family party at their residence. The couple have five children: Dusty Rivers (Betty), Beth Lewis (Mark), Cindy Hatcher (Larry), Mike Rivers and Amy Reynolds (Greg); eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
