Tew joins Citizens National Bank

         Kristi Cornish Tew has joined Citizens National Bank as manager of the Downtown Banking Centre and Medical Center Express Bank.

         With more than 15 years of banking experience, Kristi has served as manager of the Regions Bank office on North Hills Street in Meridian for the past 10 years. From 1999 to 2004, she was employed with Amsouth Investment Services as a Registered Sales Assistant. She also has prior experience as an Accountant with Emerson, Elliott, Williams, and Co. in Meridian.

         Hampton Thames, president of CNB’s Meridian Region, recently commented that he is extremely proud to have Kristi as a new addition to the Meridian team. “Kristi a high performer who has proven consistently that she knows how to be effective in leading a team to reach and exceed their sales goals. Over her banking career, she also developed an exceptional following of customers who value the expertise that she provides to them in their banking relationship.”

    “We are very fortunate to have her on our team, and we are confident that her positive attitude and high energy will be an asset to her as she leads the Downtown Meridian division,” Thames added.

         Tew is a 1996 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Accounting and a 2013 graduate of Leadership Lauderdale which is sponsored by the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation.

         In 1994, she received her Associate Degree from Meridian Community College and graduated with High Honors. She is also a 1992 graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School, and finished third in her class.

        She has three children: Miles, Regan, and Kinley. Her husband, Jeremy, is the owner of Tew Forest Management, LLC in Meridian, and the family attends Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church.
