Tolleson, Covington

    Mr. and Mrs. Allan Don Tolleson of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy LeAnne, to Tyler Kyle Covington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Al Clark Covington of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Meridian.

    Miss Tolleson is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Frances Wilcher and the late Mr. Freddie Williamson Wilcher, and Mrs. Modona Camp Tolleson and the late Mr. Claude Hooper Tolleson, all of Carthage.

    The bride-elect received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2013, and an associate’s degree in nursing from Meridian Community College in 2012. She is a graduate of Meridian High School.

    While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society and the Organization of Student Nurses.

    Miss Tolleson is employed by Anderson Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse.

    Mr. Covington is the grandson of Mrs. Metta Ann Sisson and the late Mr. William Dewitt Sisson and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Alison Covington, all of Meridian.

    The bridegroom-elect is a 2012 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in risk management insurance and financial planning with a minor in finance. He is a graduate of Northeast High School.

    He currently serves as vice president of Young Professionals of Meridian.

    Mr. Covington is employed by Citizen’s National Bank.

    A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club.
