Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Thursday:

    • Armed robbery – Laquan Fluker, 20, 548 Old Country Club Road, Meridian.

    • Simple assault of a minor – Cabrisha K. Stewart, 23, 2427 4th Ave, Meridian.

    • Willful trespassing – John K. Kelly, 44, 806 49th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault – domestic – Miguel R. Willis, 40, 2011 33rd Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Thursday:

Auto Burglary

    • 800 block of 29th Street

    • 1000 block of Bonita Lakes Circle

    • 200 block of North Hills Street

Residential Burglary

    • 3000 block of 40th Avenue

    • 1600 block of 32nd Street

Commercial Burglary

    • 900 block of 45th Avenue

Shootings

    • Meridian Police Officers responded to a shots fired call. When Officers arrived on scene they were unable to find evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s       Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Thursday:

    • Telephone harassment – Tonya L. Almond, 37, 514 Old Country Club Road A-6, Meridian.

    • Petit Larceny – up to $1,000 – Kenzales Rayshun Avery, 18, 9435 Hamrick Road North, Collinsville.

    • Armed robbery – Laquan Akeem Fluker, 20, 548 Old Country Club Road, Meridian.  

    • Driving under the influence – first offense – Martha Esther Garcia, 28, 259 Polaco Street, Meridian. Garcia is also charged with disregard of traffic device, no driver’s license, no liability insurance and no seatbelt.  

    • Contempt of court – Sean E. Henry, 42, 59 Highway Village J8, Livingston, Ala.

    • Failure to appear/bench warrant – Shermaine Tehron Lloyd, 26, 1949 Old Marion Road Lot 1, Meridian.

    • Driving under the influence – first offense – Dezarae Zittleman Nance, 32, 4883 West Crescent Lake Road, Meridian. Nance is also being charged with no liability insurance, suspended driver’s license and no seat belt.

    • Probation/parole violation – Saige Michael Tuberville, 23, 6803 13th Place, Meridian.  

    • Will trespassing – Miguel Ralpheal Willis, 39, 1301 38th Ave., Meridian. Willis is also charged with failure to pay child support, simple assault and two counts of simple assault – attempt to create fear.

    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire departments reported the following runs between 9 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Thursday:

    • Medical call, Morgan Road. (Suqualena)
