A light skinned black man entered a business in the 3400 block of A Street at 9 a.m. Thursday armed with a handgun demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount after tying up an employee, Meridian Police Detective Dareall Thompson said. The man then fled on foot.

    The investigation is ongoing.
