Meridian Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob a business at the corner of A Street and 45th Avenue.

    Police were summoned around 7 p.m. Sunday to the business by a man who had been shot. He told police he had been attacked by a black man approximately six feet tall.

    “At this time, detectives have been called to process the scene and are still working on getting more information,” Detective Dareall Thompson said. “It’s still under investigation.”

    The victim was transported to a local hospital where he remained in stable condition.
