Funeral services for Joyce D. Fendley will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Butler with Rev. Jeremy Sorrells officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Clarke County, Ala. with Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Fendley, 78, of Butler, Ala., died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 at her residence.

Visitation will be at the church two hours prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Butler or Liberty Baptist Church in Thomasville.
