Bobby and Zelda Moffett of Meridian will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, with a reception, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m., at Bucatunna Baptist Church. The event is hosted by their family. The couple have two children, Glenn Moffett and his wife, Becky, of Meridian, and David Moffett and his wife, Monica, of Madison; and four grandchildren. Bobby is a retired firefighter and Zelda is a retired beautician. Mrs. Moffett is the former Zelda Hayes of Meridian.
