    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday:

    • Hold for outside agency/law enforcement – David Montay Jones, 29, 2213 33rd Avenue, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting – Jessica Deon Lester, 34, 1005 Bragg Avenue, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence/simple assault – William McKinley Smith, 60, 3045 12th Avenue, Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from 9 a.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m. Thursday:

Armed Robbery

    • 1000 block of 18th Street.

Auto Burglary

Residential Burglary

    • 3400 block of 11th Street.

    • 1400 block of 46th Avenue.

    • 2400 block of Old Marion Road.

    • 1000 block of 19th Street.

    • 2500 block of Poplar Springs Drive.

    • 3800 block of 24th Street.

Stolen Vehicles

    • 300 block of North Frontage Road.

Shootings

    • Meridian Police Officers responded to 3 shots fired call. When Officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate evidence to support the call.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s      Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday:

    • Disturbance in a public place – Angela Dean Creekmore, 45, 3474 Highway 11 & 80 East, Toomsuba.

    • MS compulsory school attendance law – Ashley S. Creekmore, 26, 3402 A Russell Mt. Gilead Road, Meridian. Creekmore also faces charges for disturbance in a public place.

    • Grand larceny (more than $1000) – Julius Durr, 19, 2007 26th Avenue, Meridian. Durr also faces a charge for contempt of court.

    • Probation violation/parole – Angela Michelle Fluker, 40, 12186 Highway 494, Collinsville.

    • Simple assault – William Bradley Johnson, 29, 5990 Graham Cemetery Road, Meridian. Johnson also faces charges for telephone harassment and disturbance of family.

    • Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement – Enola Kelly Raley, 36, 8625 Highway 19 North, Collinsville.

    • Burglary (commercial building, car, etc..) – Ashley Nichole Ramey, 21, 5323 Mini Farm Road, Meridian.

    • Prohibition, deadly weapon or contraband in jail, two counts – Victor Reed, 27, 2328 46th Avenue, Gulfport.

    • Armed robbery – Tyesha Teunsha Thedford, 22, 1611 6th Avenue, Meridian.

    • Manslaughter – Johnny Rashun Townsend, 22, 1920 20th Avenue, Meridian.

    • 3600 block of Melda Drive, Lauderdale.

Mississippi    Department of   Corrections

    The Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) reported the following arrests between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday:

    • Sale of cocaine – David Lee Matthews, 26, 2523 14th Street, Meridian.

    • Sale of a controlled substance – Alaranzo Nanthel Nolan, 53, 7001 Old Highway 80 West, Meridian.

Fire Runs

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following fire runs between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday:

    • Outside rubbish fire, 18th Avenue.

    • Vehicle fire, Highway 19 North.

Ambulance Runs

    Metro Ambulance reported 49 emergency runs Thursday by 3 p.m.
