BLOWN TRANSFORMER CAUSES SMALL FIRE

- The Meridian Fire Department and Mississippi Power responded Tuesday afternoon to a blown transformer off of 9th Avenue behind the Silver Dollar Pawn Shop that caused a small roadside fire. Mississippi Power is investigating the cause of the blown transformer.
