Philadelphia man sentenced for sex crime

JACKSON, Miss. – Brandon Farmer, 21, of Philadelphia, was sentenced on Thursday by Senior U.S. District Judge Tom S. Lee to 108 months in prison followed by 5 years of supervised release for sexual contact with a minor under the age of 12, announced U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis.
Farmer must also register as a sex offender. Farmer previously pled guilty to the crime which occurred on the tribal lands of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Choctaw Police Department. It was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Lemon.
