    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Petty larceny — Rashaun Bester, 21, 5483 Highway 513, Stonewall.

    • Shoplifting — Roshanda R. Emerson, 30, 813 42nd Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  

    Residential Burglary

    • At 11:00 a.m., police responded to a burglary in the 1400 block of 24th Avenue.  Entry was gained through a door.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Public drunk — Marvin D. Brown, 44, 8205 Barnhill Road, Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Demetric R. Donald, 25, 122 Therman Jolasun Road, Preston.

    • DUI — Robert L. Harper, 61, 246 Harper Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of controlled substance — Laci B. Maxwell, 22, 2279 Highway 19 S., Meridian.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    DUI

    • Murphy Road, Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 8300 block Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    

    • Simple assault — Ryan Conner, 18, 1335 Zachary Lane, Meridian.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Vehicle accident, 25th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 39 N.

    • Grass fire, 16th Street

    • False alarm, 7th Street

    • Medical assist, 29th Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 39 By-pass.
