Today
10 a.m.-2 p.m. — AGAPE Storehouse Outreach Ministry will host a Community Outreach Day. The event will be held at AGAPE Storehouse Apostolic Church located at 4603 Highway 39 N. There will be a variety of games for all age groups, face painting, free food and lots of fun. Come and fellowship with us. 7 p.m. — The gospel group Revelations will present a Southern Gospel Concert at the Stuart Memorial Auditorium, 939 Old Salt Road in Sumrall, Miss. There is no admission charge but a love offering will be accepted. The concert includes open seating, concessions and free parking.

3 p.m. — Two-time GMA Dove award winning Southern Gospel Group Karen Peck and New River will be in concert at Northside Church of the Nazarene, located across from the North Hills Post Office. Saturday, March 30
10 a.m. — The Wahalak Missionary Baptist Church of Butler, Ala., will host a Christian Education Workshop entitled “Organizing and Training for the Sunday School Department.” There is no registration fee to attend. The facilitator will be the Rev. Ecclesiastes Goodwin, Sr. All superintendents, Sunday school teachers, pastors, and everyone is invited to attend. Please come and learn how to better enhance and equip your Sunday school department. Lunch will be served.

6 a.m. — Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church will host a Community Easter Sunrise Service at the church located at 5025 Zero Road in Meridian. The Rev. Paul Raley, pastor at Springhill United Methodist Church, will deliver the sermon. Music will be directed by Delores Bailey, of Shady Grove Church of God; Ginger Grissom, Central United Methodist Church; Kenneth Leach, Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church; and Ann Wiggins, Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.
10:30 a.m. — The Freedom Rock Christian Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Pastor LaBaron Hedgemon, will be presenting an Easter celebration at the historic Temple Theatre. In addition to special musical guest, Sheri Jones Moffett, Leader of Encourage Yourself with Donald Lawrence and praise dancing, there will also be prize giveaways. The feature presentation of the celebration will be a theatrical play by the drama ministry, No Greater Love, highlighting the life, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
