    Services for Hurley M. Evans will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Spring Hill Baptist Church in DeSoto with Rev. Hubert Walker officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in DeSoto with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Evans, 72, of Quitman, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at her residence.

    Visitation will be Friday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Spring Hill Baptist Church.
