Breinne Marie Magnusson and Richard Adam Leister, both of Meridian, were united in marriage on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Central United Methodist Church of Meridian. The Rev. Davey Wilkinson conducted the ceremony and blessing of the marriage.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Cheryl Magnusson-Schoen of New Orleans, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Leister of Meridian. The bride is also the daughter of the late James V. Palazzolo of Wyandotte, Mich., and the late Magnus Magnusson of Jacksonville, Fla.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. Thomas Cunningham and the late Rose Marie Cunningham of Demopolis, Ala., the late Michael V. and Patricia Palazzolo of Wyandotte, Mich., and Mrs. Kristen Rasmussen of Jacksonville, Fla.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Poochie) Pigott of Lauderdale, the late Daryle and Carlene Galli of the Martin Community, and the late Bill Leister of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Joyce Tillery, organist; Johanna Pepper, pianist; and Abby Dennis, vocalist.
Church director was Linda Whitley.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Jacob Magnusson Schoen, and family friend, Patrick Schoen, both of New Orleans. The bride wore an Allure gown of white organza that wrapped asymmetrically throughout the fitted bodice, while Swarovski crystals adorned the one-shoulder detail. A satin sash, accented with matching crystals, highlighted the dropped waistline. The A-line skirt was designed with vertical organza ruffles accented with feathers, which extended into a court-length train. Her veil was single-tiered fingertip-length, edged in satin ribbon.
Maid of honor was Kimberly Williams of Meridian.
Bridesmaids were Emily Clay, Melissa Evans and Heather Fuller, all of Meridian, Amber Bridges of Jackson, Erin Rainer of Brandon and Brittany Duckworth of Tupelo.
Flower girl was Lily Morgan Stack, niece of the bridegroom.
Best man was Wesley Weir of Meridian.
Groomsmen were Jared Nelson, Tyler McNeal, Zak Swindoll, Cory Martin, and Brook Farmer, all of Meridian, and Danny Daughtery of Panama City, Fla.
Junior groomsman was Blane Leister, son of the bridegroom.
Ring bearer was Talan Fuller.
Ushers were Michael Davidson and Chris McGee of Meridian.
Danielle Teese of Plano, Texas served as program/guest attendant, as well as the bride’s proxy. A scriptural message was read by Amy Kamper of Enterprise.
On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the bridegroom hosted a rehearsal dinner for family, friends, and out-of-town guest’s at Weidmann’s.
Following the ceremony, the mother of the bride hosted a reception at the MSU Riley Center. Music was provided by Z and the Party Faktory of Birmingham, Ala.
Wedding planner was Terrica McKee, owner of Southern Productions Weddings and Events.
After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is at home in Meridian.
