11 a.m. – 4 p.m. – East Mississippi Animal Rescue will be having a Pet Adoption at PETCO in Meridian Crossroads. Several puppies, dogs, cats, and kittens will be available for adoption. 11 a.m. – Pleasant Grove Methodist Church on Fort Stephens Road in Bailey will have their Homecoming Service. Rev. W.D. Pigot, former pastor, will be guest speaker. 2 p.m. – Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church of Jachin, AL will observe its Annual Family & Friends Day. The Guest Speaker will be Rev. A. D. Lewis, Pastor of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Meridian, MS and President of the East Mississippi Baptist State Congress of Christian Education. Everyone is invited to attend.

6 p.m.: Historic Rose Hill costumed cemetery tour. Largest Mississippi heritage event in East Central Mississippi. Free and open to the public for all ages. Hear the stories and portrayals of personages buried during the golden era of Meridian (mid 1800s to 1930s) as told by historians, storytellers and volunteers dressed in period costume.
