ID theft suspect to face judge

Only one suspect remains to be sentenced following the arrest of 10 during a 2011 federal investigation of an identity theft ring in Laurel.
The Hattiesburg American reports Enrique Martinez-Flores pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to produce false identification documents, commit wire fraud and buy or sell counterfeit Social Security cards.
He will be sentenced Thursday.
Twenty-four-year-old Jose Felipe Sanchez-Acencio was recently sentenced to the time he already served in jail plus two years of supervised release.
U.S. District Court Judge Keith Starrett also remanded the suspect to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service for transport to immigration officials.
Sanchez-Acencio pleaded guilty Feb. 3.
