Mr. Murphy, Miss Leming

    David Paul and Joy Leming Hawkins of Pearl announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Katherine Leming, to Joshua Lee Murphy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Murphy of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 6 p.m., in Oxford.

    Miss Leming is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she received a master’s degree in literacy education.

    Miss Leming is employed as a first grade teacher at Sardis Elementary School in Sardis.

    Mr. Murphy is a graduate of East Central Community College, where he received an associate’s degree in liberal arts. He also attended the University of Mississippi.

    Mr. Murphy is employed by Catepillar HPE in Oxford.
