Biloxi police Sgt. Donnie Dobbs tells The Sun Herald 22-year-old Kaleb Javon Jackson and 24-year-old Sierra Lasha Staley cashed a fraudulent check for $2,350 at a Biloxi business. Dobbs says they tried to cash another check Friday for $3,500, but were arrested.

Police say the couple got bank account numbers from unsuspecting strangers, then advertised on Craigslist for others to cash checks for them under the guise they were working for a business.

Bond was set at $50,000 each.

It could not be determined if suspects have attorneys.
