Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun said Lakendra M. Campbell, 17, of 5453 Eighth Street in Meridian, is now charged with three counts of burglary in connection with incidents reported early last week on Rabbit Road. Calhoun said Campbell was being sought by sheriff’s department investigators in the burglary of three homes in that area.

“Campbell showed up for court on the armed robbery charge, which was a city case, and his bond was revoked by the judge,” said Calhoun.

Calhoun said sheriff’s investigators had Campbell’s name and other information and were just about to go out and try to locate him when he was brought into the jail.
