Aaron Stone

    WYNNE, Ark. – Services for Aaron Stone will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Collinsville, Miss. Burial will be in Pine Forrest Cemetery.

    Mr. Stone, a resident of Wynne, died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at home. He was born in Walnut Ridge, Ark., on July 8, 1916. He owned Stone Motor Company in Wynne and was a retired auto dealer. He previously owned a motor company in Meridian, Louisville, and Canton, Miss. Aaron attended the McElroy United Methodist Church while living in Cross County. He was a member and a former deacon of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Collinsville.

    Survivors are his nephews, whom he loved like sons, Gary Mitchell, Browne Matthews, Perry Hollaway and Bill Webster, all of Wynne; nieces, whom he loved like daughters, Nedra Matthews, Andrea Hill, Sandra Hollaway and Stella Mitchell all of Wynne; his caregiver, Jessica McNair of Wynne, who he loved dearly.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, William Luten Stone and Lela Ethel Bowan

Stone; wife, Laura Stone; and daughter, Willene Holden.

    Memorials may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church, 10031 West Lauderdale Road, Collinsville, MS 39325.

    Visitation will be Monday, from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. at the church in Collinsville.
