The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect wanted for kidnapping, and armed robbery.

Lauderdale County Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun said Tuesday that the Sheriff’s Department is trying to find Vishitti Tamara Coleman-Gaines in connection with an early morning robbery of the Sidetrack Lounge on Highway 19 South at Whynot. A man and woman allegedly robbed the lounge at gunpoint at about 12:30 a.m. on Monday, March 19.

“Based on our investigations, and with help from the community,” Calhoun said, investigators established enough probable cause for warrants to be issued for Coleman-Gaines’ arrest.

Coleman-Gaines is 27 years old, is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs about 120 pounds.

Calhoun said the investigation is continuing to identify the other suspect.

In last week’s report of the robbery, the owner of the business and one other person were said to be inside the lounge when a man and a woman entered, pulled handguns, forced the victims on the floor, and took cash and surveillance equipment.

The suspects were said to have fled south on Highway 19 in a dark colored SUV.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department asks anyone with information on Coleman-Gaines’ location to call 911 or Crimestoppers at (601) 485-1860.
