“I love history. I love to learn about the past and how it affected everything. It’s just interesting to me,” Pankhurst said.

While having a love of history, Pankurst keeps busy in the here and now— from flying her family’s airplane, to playing piano. However, the activity that gets the top spot is her relationship with God.

“God is everything to me,” she said. “He died a horrible death for me when I deserve no better then Hell. I would have no life if it weren’t for Him and there is nothing worthy enough to live for other than Him. I’m just wildly in love with Him and it changes everything.”

Pankhurst is also the part of a close-knit family.

“I live with my dad, step mom, step sister, and blood sister,” she said. “My dad, Terry Pankhurst is a huge inspiration to me; he’s my hero. My step mom, Terri Crocker is a wonderful woman and I’m so glad she is in my life. My sisters, one who lives in Missouri and the other two with me, are my best friends. My mom died two years ago and nothing could ever take her place, I miss her every single day. But God really blessed me with the family He put into my life.”

Pankhurst says that she hopes to find herself in the sky in a more professional fashion.

“I know I want to do something with aviation, whether it’s military or not,” she said. “But I’ve felt a call to missions and if God allows it, I would like to be a pilot for Wings of the Angels or another missionary team. Wherever God leads me I’ll go. It’s all up to Him.”
