Detectives with the Meridian Police Department have arrested two Meridian men in connection to two separate cases ranging from child pornography to rape.

    According to officials with the MPD Wednesday afternoon, Christopher D. Richardson, 26, was arrested for 56 counts of possession of child pornography. Richardson’s bond was set at $50,000

    In the other case, MPD officials said Marlon Randle of Meridian, 31, was arrested for burglary and capital rape. His bond was set at $50,000 per charge.    MPD officials said the victim in this case knew her attacker and both charges are related to each other.
