Police arrest double homicide suspect

A 27-year-old man has been arrested after a double homicide in Picayune.
Quincy Jones, of Picayune was arrested in the wake of the shooting that left 32-year-old Michael Burnett and 18-year-old Shaquille Bagley dead. A third victim, Reginald Smith, was airlifted to Forrest General Hospital for surgery. Smith’s condition is unknown.
WLOX-TV reports that police believe the shooting occurred as revenge for another altercation that happened among the group earlier in the week.
Jones has been charged with one count of murder and one count of discharging a weapon. Police said at least six people were involved in the shooting and more charges could be coming.
