Miss McClain, Mr. Chesney

    Mr. Greg McClain and Ms. Leitha McClain, both of Guntersville, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kirby Nicole McClain to A.J. Chesney, son of Tim and Melanie Chesney of Union.

    The wedding will be Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Guntersville, in Guntersville, Ala.

    Miss McClain is the granddaughter of Mrs. Rachel Horn of Guntersville, Ala., and Mrs. Imogene McClain of Center Point, Ala.

    The bride-elect is currently enrolled in pharmacy school at the University of Mississippi. She is a 2003 graduate of Guntersville High School.

    Mr. Chesney is the grandson of Don and Beth Howington of Little Rock, and Rev. Lin and Janice Chesney of Union.

    The bridegroom-elect will graduate from the University of Mississippi Pharmacy School in May 2012. He is a 2003 graduate of Union High School.
