    QUITMAN – Services for Charles Robert “Buddy” Williams will be today, at 2 p.m., at Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Shoemaker and Rev. Doug Manning officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery with Wright’s Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Williams, 81, of Quitman, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at his residence. He was co-owner of Williams Auto Parts and Service Center, and owner of B.W. Twine of Quitman.

    Survivors include his wife, Addie Lee Williams; daughter, Bettye Barnette and her husband James; grandchildren: Tammy Mosley and her husband Jeff, and Robbie Tindle and his wife Penny, all of Quitman; step-grandson, Heath Barnette and his wife Amber; great-grandchildren: Zachery Mosley, Amelia Mosley, Destiny Tindle and Madison Tindle; step-great-grandchildren: Dylan Barnette and Lakyn Barnette; brother, Horace Williams of Philadelphia; and sister, Ivone Fagan of Marietta, Ga.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, H. R. and Clara Williams; sister, Elsie Hackler; and brothers: James Williams, Cleo Williams and Curtis Williams.

    Pallbearers will be Billy Gene Hamrick, Kenneth Murray, Jimmy Vaughn, Stanley Holloman, Mike Williams and Chris Smith.
