Mr. and Mrs. Al Turnipseed of the Blackwater Community announce the engagement of their daughter, Mindi Lynn, to Kyle Eric Singley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Singley of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Blackwater Baptist Church.
Miss Turnipseed is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Rigdon of Collinsville, Mrs. Fair Turnipseed of DeKalb and the late Marion Turnipseed of DeKalb.
The bride-elect is a 2011 honors graduate of Meridian Community College, where she received an associate’s degree of applied science as a physical therapy assistant. She is also a 2008 graduate of Kemper Academy.
While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and received Circle of Excellence Award honors.
Miss Turnipseed is currently employed with Mid South Rehab.
Mr. Singley is the grandson of Mrs. Edna Earl Tedder and the late Billy Zane Tedder of Meridian, and Mrs. Pauline Ford and the late Alfred Ford of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a 2007 graduate of Clarkdale High School.
Mr. Single is currently employed with Singley Plumbing LLC.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the Church Fellowship Hall.
