I want to say thank you to our Meridian Star subscribers for your patience the last few days. We experienced some serious mechanical problems with the printing press that completely shut us down and forced us to move the actual printing of The Meridian Star to an offsite press facility just across the state line. Being at the mercy of another printer means they pick the time you get to print. Because the University of Alabama had a home football game against rival Tennessee you can imagine that it was a challenge to fit us into their schedule. Yet they did and were a tremendous help in a time of need.

    While the delivery of subscribers was late by a few hours for two days I am happy to report that The Meridian Star adjusted and did not miss publishing an issue and is now up and running again at our own facility.
