Judith McMullan

    Services for Judith “Judi” McMullan will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m., at the Episcopal Church of The Mediator, with the Rev. Dr. Helen W. Tester officiating. Burial will be in the church columbarium with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. McMullan, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a very well known designer in the Meridian area and also traveled the world as a designer for Peavey Electronics. Her most recent design job was for Mayor Cheri Barry’s office in the new City Hall. Judi was a graduate of Athens High School in Athens, Ala., and went on to obtain a degree in Interior Planning from the School of Architecture at Auburn University. She was a very well known and published designer in the southeast.

    Survivors include a son, Scot McMullan and his wife Lawren of Sikeston, Mo.; her mother, Mildred Kubilis of Meridian; two grandchildren: Witt and Graham McMullan of Sikeston, Mo.; a sister, Carolyn Culp and her husband Robert of Ona, W.V.; a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many close and cherished friends.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” McMullan; two daughters: Kristan McMullan and Jamie Blair McMullan; and her father, John “Jack” Kubilis.

    The family requests memorials be made to the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, 3825 35th Avenue, Meridian, Mississippi 39305.
