Pretty Fierce Camp is positive force for local, area girls

    More than 20 girls from Meridian and surrounding areas recently participated in Pretty Fierce Summer Camp.

     Geared to ages 3-12, the camp provided participants techniques in cheerleading and dance. In addition to perfecting two cheers as well as jumps, the girls also participated in a “Whip My Hair” dance showcase held at the Council of Organization Building.

    Pretty Fierce’s purpose is to promote self-confidence, self-esteem, self-awareness, and self-express in young ladies. Pretty Fierce also helps young ladies develop manners, poise and posture and charisma.

    Fall classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at the Boys and Girls Club of Meridian. Sessions will be held for ages 3-15, from 6:30 p.m.-7:45 p.m. Registration begins Monday and will continue through Friday, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at The Boys and Girls Club. For more information, contact Ashley Ratcliff Jones at (601) 938-1908 or MrsPrettyFierce@gmail.com
