   Attorneys R. Kevin Hamilton and Joe Clay Hamilton were each  named as Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2010-2011 by the Mississippi Association of Justice at its recent annual meeting in New Orleans.

    One outstanding trial lawyer is honored each year, but the award was made jointly this year to the father-and-son team.  Joe Clay is with The Hamilton Law Firm’s Meridian office, while Kevin is at the firm’s Jackson office.

    The award is presented to the lawyer who has done the most to help the causes of injured individuals of Mississippi and who has achieved exceptional results for their clients through trial advocacy. The Mississippi Association for Justice is comprised of approximately 700 attorneys throughout the state who primarily represent the interests of plaintiffs in civil cases. The Hamilton Law firm has office locations in Meridian and Jackson.
