MONTGOMERY – Ray Scott, legendary founder of BASSmasters and owner the Trophy Bass Retreat in Pintlala, has donated a comprehensive fishing package to help raise awareness about Alabama Black Belt Adventures and support its mission. Scott serves on the organization’s board of directors.

    “The entire Black Belt region has some of the best fishing in the country,” said Scott. “That’s why I chose to live and fish there.     Launched in 2009, ALBBA is an initiative to promote the abundance of natural resources, vast outdoor recreational opportunities, and cultural heritage of Alabama’s Black Belt region. Its mission is to brand the area as the premier destination for all outdoor recreation and attract visitors from around the country.
