EMCC’s Golden Triangle Campus recognizes achievement at Awards Day ceremony

    MAYHEW – East Mississippi Community College recognized academic excellence and leadership at a recent Awards Day ceremony at its Golden Triangle campus.

    “It’s said that successful people do what unsuccessful people won’t. I think that’s true. If you’re a student, that means studying hard and maybe passing up on some of the fun of college life. It means stepping up into leadership roles to improve our college, learning skills that will be used later to improve our communities,” said EMCC President Dr. Rick Young.

    “Every year, EMCC recognizes these students for their achievements at Awards Day ceremonies. All of us at EMCC, faculty and staff, applaud you. You are the future leaders of our state.”
